Head Coach: Alan Huss

Coach Alan Huss isn’t bashful when spreading the word about his program. The northwest Indiana school boasts players from six states, including two from Indiana, and three foreign countries. La Lumiere’s top recruit is 6-11 junior center/power forward Johnathon Wilkins (9.5 ppg, 12.5 rpg) of nearby Gary, IN. Wilkins is an exceptional rebounder and defender and has at least 25 high-major offers. Oklahoma State-bound Detrick Mostella and Sam Logwood are the leading scorers at 18.5 ppg. Forward Torren Jones signed with Missouri.

The Lakers (27-5) opened the season peeling off 11 consecutive victories before losing in the championship game of the Iolani Classic in Honolulu to top-ranked Findlay Prep (NV), 61-53. In the semifinals, they beat Oak Hill Academy (VA), 70-67. Another big moment occurred on Jan. 18 in a defensive standoff 46-35 win over nationally ranked Huntington Prep (WV).
